Join 3,500 participants in this exciting flat half marathon course with many unique features! First, the half marathon starts at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno. Participants will experience running by City Hall on the way to one of Fresno’s most famous landmarks, the Tower District, where you will be cheered on by plenty of spectators and bands. Runners will then head to the Valley’s only accredited zoo, The Fresno Chaffee Zoo, where they will run past the elephants, lions, tigers and bears, and the newly built $10 Million Sea Lion Cove!. After being entertained by the animals, you’ll leave the zoo and run through the newly renovated Downtown areas passing the newly built $84 million Federal Court House, the Granville Lofts, Eaton Plaza and the Historic Water Tower. You’ll complete your journey heading back to Chukchansi Stadium finishing in grand style in front of your family and friends as they watch you on the large LCD screen as you cross the finish line along side home plate. The same home plate that 17 players of the 2012 World Series San Francisco Giants’ crossed while playing for the AAA affiliate Fresno Grizzlies!
